My number is flagged as spam: what should I do?
Document the label and its context first. HUHU does not provide a command that forces every carrier to remove a label.
Editorial review:
1. Identify the signal and its scope
Record the international number, source, date and exact label. When reproducing an issue on a test phone, also record the network, device and settings. One screen does not establish a nationwide situation.
Distinguish a network-rejected call from a delivered call with a label or an unanswered call. Preserve result codes from your telephone provider before making changes.
2. Address the cause and report an error
Review contact provenance, requests not to be called, attempt frequency and how clearly you identify yourself. Pause a campaign generating negative reactions while investigating instead of moving it to another number.
For an incorrect Hiya label, use its official registration and reporting process. Prepare the ownership and usage evidence requested by the provider. Registration does not guarantee label removal. For another source, use that source’s own reporting channel.
3. Check the result over time
Keep your case reference. Compare the same source under similar conditions and record changes in your practices. An improvement in one source does not establish a change everywhere.
HUHU helps monitor available signals and their evolution. An alert should prompt an investigation; it is not proof of identity or a guarantee that calls will connect.
