Population, method and limitations
Hiya observes its network, including enabled Samsung Smart Call devices and its app. Spam includes nuisance and fraud. The 59% refers to non-contact calls, not all French calls or the share of businesses flagged.
These historical figures do not measure your campaign, sector or individual carrier. They cannot establish a national daily volume simply by scaling them to the French population.
Compare figures using the same denominator
A complaint, a labeled call and a blocked call are different measures. Before comparing figures, check the country, dates, device coverage and definition of spam. Growth in complaints is not a market share.
For your business, track calls placed, calls connected, useful conversations and callback requests separately. Record dates and sample sizes. If your contact list or calling schedule also changes, you cannot attribute the entire difference to number reputation.
